Getting your ticket is simple. Here are answers to the most common questions we receive.
WAIGF is an inclusive, multi-stakeholder platform which serves as a convergence fo ministries, regulators, parliamentarians, private sector leaders, innovators, civil society, the technical community, academia and youth networks in the region and beyond.
Yes — registration for WAIGF 2026 is completely free. You will not be asked to pay at any point during the process. All delegates, regardless of country or sector, can attend at no cost.
We use Weezevent, a professional event registration platform that also supports paid events. This is why some screens may look familiar. However, for WAIGF 2026, the ticket price is set to zero — you will never be prompted to enter payment details.
- Click the “Register Now” or “Complete Your Registration” button on this page.
- Select your free ticket and click Continue.
- Fill in your personal details: name, title, organisation, position, country, phone, and email.
- Complete the Buyer’s information section — this is simply your contact information.
- Click Next to finalise. A confirmation email with your ticket will be sent to you immediately.
Title refers to your honorific or professional prefix. Choose from: Mr, Mrs, Dr, or Pr (Professor). Select whichever is closest to your situation.
The country list and phone flag are generated by the Weezevent platform and are software-specific — they do not affect your eligibility to attend. Participants from all West African countries and beyond are welcome. Simply scroll to find your country; if it is not listed, select the nearest available option. This does not impact your registration in any way.
Please check your spam or junk folder first — confirmation emails from Weezevent are sometimes filtered automatically. If the email is not there, contact the WAIGF 2026 secretariat and we will confirm your registration manually.
Participation is hybrid. This event will be streamed live on our social media platforms
for virtual participants.
