WAIGF is the regional multistakeholder platform where governments, civil society, the private sector, academia, the technical community and young people engage on Internet governance and digital development in West Africa.
A regional platform built around participation
Since 2008, WAIGF has provided a regional space for open dialogue, capacity building, knowledge exchange and cooperation on Internet governance. The forum connects national initiatives with regional and global policy conversations while keeping West African priorities visible.
Its ecosystem includes the annual WAIGF, the West Africa School on Internet Governance (WASIG), the West Africa Youth IGF (WAYIGF), the parliamentary track and year-round policy engagement.
