The Muriel Alapini Fellowship honours the legacy and service of Muriel Alapini — a dedicated communicator, community builder, and advocate for inclusive Internet governance and digital empowerment in West Africa.
This fellowship recognizes exceptional leaders — especially women — whose work advances:

About Muriel Alapini
Muriel Alapini is a Beninese internet governance professional and communications specialist. She has played active roles in regional dialogues, training, and outreach on critical topics including responsible online behaviour, policy communication, and stakeholder engagement. Her work has spanned radio, television, and community training, and she has participated in forums such as WAIGF and DNS community events.
Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to:
- Inclusion and diversity in digital spaces
- Education and capacity building
- Amplifying underrepresented voices in governance processes
This fellowship continues that legacy by supporting the next generation of leaders.
